Optimus II - L'expérience de la fenêtre brisée est inspirée des graffitis trouvés dans les milieux naturels. Cette installation été réalisée avec l’aide du public qui était invité à interagir, à l’aide de crayons, sur l’oeuvre initialement noire immaculée. L’oeuvre a survécu moins de 24 heures.
Le lieu de présentation a été le spectacle d’une confrontation entre deux gangs rivaux qui ont brisé la sculpture en la déplaçant. Un travail d’équipe étrange, car avec comme but d’avoir plus d’espace pour se battre.
La séquence a été filmée grâce aux caméras de surveillance. Les autorités du festival et du complexe immobilier n’ont jamais consenti à me remettre le document, qui est en fait la vraie oeuvre d’art dans ce projet.

Optimus II - The Broken Window Theory was inspired by graffiti found in parks, natural reserves, popular mountain destinations, etc. This installation engaged the public who were invited to interact, using pencils, on the initially plain black piece. It turned out that the sculpture survived less than 24 hours.
The setting of the presentation became the scene of a confrontation between two rival gangs who broke the sculpture by moving it to gain more space for their fight.
The sequence was filmed with surveillance cameras. The Festival and premises management never agreed to give me the video recording, which actually was the real work of art in this project.
