A Martyr (or spoiler board) is a wooden panel installed to protect the milling table of a CNC.

This sculpture is a retranscription of the tool paths of a CNC Martyr panel used by artists over three years. The works testify to the accumulation of ideas and fragments of artists' works, and constitute the trace of a multitude of micro-narratives, testifying to a fascination for chance.
